Join me for an online close up focus on trading Southwell All Weather track.
The Southwell track is a brand new Tapeta surface and is showing some bias as it starts to settle in. There are distinct patterns showing race after race and it is currently almost at the point of being able to predict the chances of a horse immediately after the turn depending on which side of the track they choose to race. It is that clear cut right now.
The races are run in a remarkably consistent manner and once you know what to look for, trading the races in running becomes far easier than that the way the track used to be, where horses in the rear rarely won due to the kickback off the old surface.
This is how the day will run.

We look at how to set up BetJet Pro (or your chosen software) to place an entry, exit and hedge with one click of a mouse or one tap of a key on your keyboard.
We look at one horse strategies, two horse, three horse and going into a race with no preconceived idea to just see what unfolds and how to react to it.
1.45pm to 4.40pm Live Racing with six live races.
We will be live trading the six Southwell markets, showing you exactly how we put everything you have been shown into action, as it happens.
We will use the grid and ladder on BetJet Pro to cater for either preference and in between races, we will review the race and analyse what happened and if there were other possible ways to trade the race.
After racing Q & A
After racing we will have a Q and A and I will answer all of your questions.
Why attend the course?
This is an opportunity, to see live, how to trade horse racing manually and using minimal automation, during the race rather than simply betting on them and hoping they win.
We will be looking at the specifics of Southwell and how to trade it. These techniques are only of use at Southwell and won’t work on other all weather tracks.
I will do courses catering for other tracks in future.
You don’t need a huge bank to get started. Trade with as much or as little as you’re comfortable with. You won’t be required to trade on the day, but you can follow the action if you wish with betting at the same time I do.
This is not about finding the winner of the race. This is nothing to do with which horse wins, in fact you don’t even need to know much about racing at all, if anything! The track intricacies are what this is about.
Who should attend?
- Anyone interested in the finer details of how to trade the Southwell track.
